This painting depicts the scene described by the Apollo 12 Astronauts as they were returning to Earth from the Moon. The Sun is directly behind Earth, giving a glorious ring of rainbow sunrise all the way around. With the full moon behind them, its image reflected in the Indian Ocean, the nightside sea was lit up and sparkling. Venus, brilliant, floated in the sky, cradled among the stars of the Milky Way.

Our prints are produced with 100+ year inks on archival papers. Dimensions shown reflect the image area. Matting and framing add to these measurements, proportional to the image size. Framed prints are glazed with ultraviolet inhibiting plexiglas and matted using archival stock to preserve the rich colors. Mat colors are carefully chosen to complement each image.
